Fr. Bua is the Parish priest; this means that he represents the Bishop in the running of the parish.

Born in West Africa, middle belt of Nigeria, a former member of the Salesians of Don Bosco, I.T. expert, computer repairer, graphic designer, website designer, photographic, and cinematography instructor at Tangaza University, Kenya.

Fr. Philip trained at the Pontifical Beda College in Rome and was ordained in St Columba’s Cathedral, Oban on Tuesday 21st June, 2022 by Bishop Brian McGee, Bishop of Argyll and the Isles Diocese

He served as a priest covering Glencoe and Mingarry Parishes after his ordination for one month and was appointed assistant priest in St. Mun’s Parish Dunoon.

On the 16th May, 2023 Bishop appointed him the parish priest of St. Margaret parish, Lochgilphead, and The Visitation Parish, Taynuilt.
